Very strong earthquake occurred in the south-central Adriatic Sea at 14:47 today, 27 March.

According to initial estimates from the European Mediterranean Seismological Center, the quake had a magnitude of 5.4 on the Richter scale. The epicenter is located north of Gargano, fortunately quite far from the mainland.
